Sunday Mornings at 9:00 o'clock September through May
GOD IS IN THE DAILY GRIND Drop off your kids in our Children's Sunday School, grab a cup of coffee, and join us around the table as we discuss issues of importance to parents of children and youth. The Class is currently viewing the Courageous DVD and using the companion study guide.
A BIBLICAL ETHIC FOR THE POLITICAL SEASON This Adult Sunday School season will begin with a seven-week study of faith and politics, led by Dale Bowne. Christians have long pondered the ways in which their faith should inform their politics. As we enter this final phase of the 2012 election campaign, we invite all adults to explore together some of the questions and issues we face as Christian American citizens. The ethic of the New Testament offers a life-style for believers. But how do we live as Christians in the midst of our political process? How does that life-style inform how we choose people for public positions of responsibility? Join us in room 209 at 9:00.
SUNDAY MORNING ROUNDTABLE meets to discuss current events and issues important to the group. The Class is currently joining the class led by Dr. Dale Bowne called A Biblical Ethic for the Political Season to be held in room 209.
Thursday Mornings from 9:00 -10:15
September through May
Everyone is welcome at this weekly Bible study; no experience is necessary. Just bring a Bible! The pastor leads the discussion, and other church staff participate as well. This fall we are focusing on the Gospel of Matthew. Childcare can be provided with advanced notice. Click here to contact Vicki Lantz for more information.
Christ Care Small groups are gatherings of five to twelve people who meet regularly to focus on four acti
vities: community building and care, Bible study, prayer and worship, and mission service. We have seven small groups with 6 to 12 members in each group. Some groups meet during the day, and others take place in the evening. Click here for a full description of all our groups. Please feel free to call or email Pastor Jennifer if you want to know more about joining any group.

Kirk Night: Wednesday evening programs
Adult Classes on Wednesday evenings vary in topic throughout the year. Examples of previous classes: Disciple Bible Study, Wednesday Evening Connections - guest gpeakers from local Mission Groups, and a Lenten Bible Study series. Click here for more information. Contact Vicki Lantz for more specific information on topics.
This group meets monthly to read and study writings from the Christian Mystics. Mystics are Christians who have sought to experience God and Christ in their daily lives through prayer, meditation, and community. Their lives span from early Christian times, through the years, to Christians today. Our discussions are lively, and the readings are interesting from perspectives of Christian faith and history. Contact Pastor Jennifer to learn more about this group.
Presbyterianism 101: A Few Things Everyone Should Know about What it Means to be Presbyterian
In this very introductory class, our pastors will offer an overview of Presbyterian governance (How we make decisions), history (Who are John Calvin and John Knox and why do we care?), and theology (What do we believe?). At the last session, we’ll bring it all together with some real-life case studies of life in a Presbyterian Church. This is a great class for new officers and people new to the Presbyterian Church (USA). Call the church cffice for the next offering (717) 243-4571.
This group of women interested in feminist theology and women authors meets in members' homes for dinner and book discussion. Contact Pastor Jennifer to learn more about this group.
